OXFORD OPERATIC SOCIETY PRESENTS GUYS AND DOLLS
OXFORD PLAYHOUSE 21 – 26 NOVEMBER 2005
Oxford Operatic Society presents Frank Loesser's great Broadway musical GUYS AND DOLLS , at the Oxford Playhouse 21 – 26 November.
Set in 1940s New York Oxford audiences will have an opportunity to follow the tangled tale of philandering gangsters, gambling womanisers and unrequited love. Oxford's longest running amateur company will be performing the classic musical comedy including all of the show's wonderful musical numbers, such as Luck be a Lady Tonight, Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat and, of course, Guys and Dolls.
Sarah Leatherbarrow appears as Sarah Brown, Tim Younger as Sky Masterson, Marilyn Moore as Miss Adelaide and Dave Crewe as Nathan Detroit. The Director is Phil Garner, the Musical Director is Michael Evans and the Choreographer is Maggie Moriarty.

The Oxford Operatic Society is a friendly amateur society with more than 70 members. It was founded in 1946. The Society usually performs at the Oxford Playhouse, putting on two productions a year, one in the spring and one in the autumn.
